We're looking for one founder per region to help organise local digs and build the JOMF network. Earn 20% of membership revenue in your area.

Items may be sold privately, through auction, or offered to collectors. Treasure Act items are reported as required by UK law.
Value is added to the system, split according to the JOMF model, and paid out quarterly to members and landowners.

After sale: Landowner receives £250 (50%). The remaining £250 is shared across dig participants, regional members, and the national pool.
All finds are handled in line with UK law, including the Treasure Act where applicable. Items of historical significance are reported and processed correctly.
Every find is tracked, valued and shared fairly.
At the end of each quarter (Mar, Jun, Sep, Dec), the total members pool is divided equally among all eligible members and credited to your wallet.
You share in the 20% dig pool with everyone who attended that day, plus you earn from your regional pool (20%) and national pool (5% for Pro/Elite). The landowner receives 50%.
Yes! Once your wallet balance reaches £20, you can request a withdrawal via bank transfer. Funds typically arrive within 3-5 business days.

Most digs run for around 4 hours, though this can vary depending on the site, conditions and group size.
We handle all legal compliance. Significant finds are reported to the Portable Antiquities Scheme as required by law.
Absolutely. Cancel your subscription whenever you like. Any finder earnings you've accrued remain yours to withdraw.
That's the beauty of JOMF. You still earn from your regional pool and (for Pro/Elite) the national pool. Every find in your region benefits you, even if you weren't there.
You'll need a metal detector for digs. Elite members have access to our equipment loan program. We can recommend detectors for beginners too.
Absolutely! Many of our members are new to detecting. We have experienced detectorists at every dig who are happy to help you learn.
Yes. We have written permission from all landowners, public liability insurance, and follow the Treasure Act and NCMD code of conduct. Everything is above board.
